Autumn / Winter 2013 Campaign
Pringle of Scotland Releases the Autumn / Winter 2013 Campaign
London, July 2013, Pringle of Scotland is the iconic brand founded in 1815 at the birthplace of the Scottish knitwear industry. From the beginning technical innovation has led to the creation of knitwear as outerwear, the signature argyle pattern and the classic twinset.
The autumn/ winter 2013 collection presents a new vision of the Pringle of Scotland heritage- clean architectural shapes combine with innovative knitwear techniques that create unique and exciting textural effects. The lighting and mood of the campaign is intended to highlight this tactile quality.
Young, LA based photographer, Zoë Ghertner, was chosen to shoot the campaign, for her signature talent of working with light to create interesting shadows across the models and imagery, which in turn accentuates the texture of the knits. The campaign was shot on location at an art deco building in LA, which afforded the right balance of light and shade to achieve these unusual effects.
Models Marike le Roux and Mattias Hok Nordkvist are bathed in light, giving an ethereal, timeless quality to the imagery.
The full autumn/ winter 2013 collection will be available at the new Pringle of Scotland flagship store, opening on Mount Street, London, September 2013.
