Pringle of Scotland launches its first seasonal Autumn/Winter store in St Moritz

December, 2013, Pringle of Scotland is delighted to announce the opening of a seasonal store in St.Moritz, Switzerland.

Pringle of Scotland is the iconic brand founded in 1815 at the birthplace of the Scottish knitwear industry. From the beginning technical innovation has led to the creation of knitwear as outerwear, the signature argyle pattern and the classic twinset.

Following the recent opening of a global flagship store on London’s Mount Street in September 2013, Pringle of Scotland is set to trial a new retail format focusing on cashmere editions, its expertise in knitwear and show casing the current Autumn/Winter collections.

The seasonal store will open at the beginning of the St.Moritz Winter season, on December 5th 2013 and run through to April 2014. Catering for the resort’s discerning global clientele, this new store format will showcase exclusive Scottish handknits, luxurious cashmere and fur accessories and special Pringle of Scotland re-editions exclusive to the St Moritz store.

The Autumn/Winter 2013 collection offers clean and structured silhouettes, softened through the use of luxurious knit details. Massimo Nicosia, Pringle of Scotland head of design, offers a collection that plays with traditional knit techniques to innovative effect; a cashmere crochet fur stitch hand knit sweater for women, and a cashmere enlarged cable hand knit that creates a rope like effect for men are stand out pieces.
